While we strive to support sustainable, low input, urban agriculture, our clients are the driving force of a larger movement and we are glad to be able to play a role.  Thanks to an extremely diverse community, we are excited to serve each individual’s personal wants and needs.

We try to provide a constantly developing inventory of perennial vegetables, fruit trees, nitrogen fixers and other practical application plants.  The beauty of plants and people is we are constantly growing and evolving, which drives us to stay at the forefront of new plant varieties and more efficient ways to water and fertilize them.

Fruit trees, Perennial vegetables, and Nitrogen fixers:

They’re simply our passion.  There are hundreds, if not thousands of perennial edibles that will grow here in Gainesville.  And those numbers grow exponentially if you include varieties.  If the same energy was put into planting edibles in our landscapes as has been put into planting strictly ornamentals, sustainable agriculture would not be a necessary term.  Homeowners don’t have to be farmers to eat healthy homegrown food.  Many simpler systems have been developed to provide the homeowner with a landscape that is not only full of flowers and beauty, but also full of healthy food.   

Rainwater Collection:

From the simplest rain barrel system to 3000+ gallon systems, we have set up manual and automatic systems that are off the grid and others that are tied to city water.

Irrigation:

Your fruit trees and perennial vegetables need water as much as we do.  We try to give the best care we can to plants that provide food to us.  Not just because they need it, but because the fruit just tastes better.  Care for your plants and they will care for you.

Sometimes even the little things make a big difference.  Even if you want to keep you lawn, adjusting rotors and spray heads, to not water roads and sidewalks, or even adding a rain sensor, to shut off your irrigation when it’s raining, can make a world of difference in conserving water.

General Consultation

We believe Edible Landscaping, Permaculture, and a Water Conservation are at the core of sustainable living and we would like to do whatever we can do to help you create the healthy living environment your looking for. - $50/hour for the first hour and $30/hour for any additional hours. The first hours consultation fee is reimbursed with an installation of $300 or more.
